At the National Retail Federation Convention (NRF), Intel unveiled its digital signage concept, including optimized digital signage solutions based on the Intel® Core™ i7 processor and Windows 7-based Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 2011* platform. Collaborating with Intel and Microsoft, C-nario demonstrated its support for these innovative processor and platform, at Intel’s booth. Click here for full press release In another event, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), C-nario announced its support for Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT). Intel AMT makes PCs easier and less expensive to remotely monitor, maintain, update, upgrade, and repair. According to Jose Avalos, digital signage director at Intel Corporation, “Intel® Active Management Technology coupled with C-nario’s Messenger platform provides a window to the immediate future of Intelligent Digital Signage networks.” Click here for full press release Intel published a case study describing how C-nario utilizes its technology to the maximum, driving 12 true HD channels from one single standard PC. Through the use of Intel Core i7 processors, C-nario dramatically decreased the number of computers required to drive a video wall, thereby providing energy and cost savings to customers. C-nario and Disk-In Pro, a provider of planning, design and construction services for visitor centers, museums, and exhibitions, have completed the Olympic Experience Museum of the Olympic Committee of Israel in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Olympic Experience Museum is a unique multi-sensory, interactive, multimedia experience conveying the Olympic values. The interactive experience takes place in a five-hall show, corresponding to the five Olympic rings. C-nario participated at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2010, held February 2-4, 2010 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The show was a tremendous success for us. We demonstrated our strengths, capabilities, and leading market positioning. C-nario’s booth attracted many visitors who were highly impressed by our technology. One of our attractions was Christie's Skyscraper display which demonstrated a New York wayfinding application, based on C-nario Messenger. C-nario and IKUSI, a global provider of communications and electronic solutions and services, announced a strategic partnership to provide innovative digital signage projects in Spain and Latin America. Under the terms of the agreement, IKUSI will license and implement C-nario’s software products in digital signage projects where it will serve as system integrator. Both companies have already begun several projects for transport and retail applications, as well as an end-to-end digital signage solution on a cultural building in Spain to be opened in 2010. |
The 50th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, held in November 2009 in Greece, presented, for the first time, its own TV channel, FFTV (Film Festival TV). The FFTV was broadcast in the festival venues and in major public places and hotels across Thessaloniki. It was operated by Alphavision and based on C-nario software.
